Installing a new computer or new computer hardware can be challenging and time consuming. Let us take all the challenges out of it for you.
When replacing your old computer, we will carefully unplug all the wires and neatly remove everything for you. All the wires will be wrapped up neatly keeping everything tidy. Any additional wires that will no longer be required will be removed out of the area allowing us to install your new computer keeping everything looking neat and tidy. If you would like to use your old computer in another room, we will set it up in the new location for you.
Installing your new computer can be complex and confusing. We carefully un-package your new computer and place it into its new home. All the wires are carefully and neatly routed before plugging them in keeping everything tidy. There are many questions we need you to answer as we go through the initial Windows setup. We have you sit with us to answer any questions and so everything will be personalized just for you.
The new computers come with little to no applications that you require or may want to use. All the software you require to use for the internet, read documents, listen to music and more will be installed. Then we custom configure each of them for you.
Anytime you replace your PC, none of your devices will be recognized. Our job is to setup and configure your printer, scanner, cell phones, tablets, smart home and more allowing everything to work together just like they should.
We keep our lives on our computer. All your emails, bookmarks, photos, music, documents, accounting and more live there just waiting for us. When you get your new computer it is a blank slate and will not have any of your personal data. This is where PC Handyman comes in. We will back up your data, make sure there is no malicious software on it before moving it onto your new computer. We will put everything in the original locations for you making everything easy to find and your new computer easy to use.
NEVER put your old computer to the curb, give to a friend or family memory or donate it. All your documents, pictures, and even your online accounts with passwords may be able to be retrieved and used maliciously causing you embarrassment or even financial harm. Even if you delete your data or format your drives, all your personal data can still be retrieved. We can Secure Erase all the data from all your media to the Department Of Defense standards making it impossible for your personal information to fall into the wrong hands. Then if you would like to sell or donate your old computer, the drives will still be usable and you will be safe.
